Join the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary for Metro-Urban Institute’s Urban Leadership Series: Why We Need Smart Justice. Terrell Thomas, Senior Field Organizer for the Campaign for Smart Justice of the ACLU, will be addressing the Campaign for Smart Justice’s efforts to reduce the jail and prison population by 50% while combating racial disparities in the criminal justice system.
The event is free and open to the public. Networking and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6:00 p.m. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the John Knox Room, Long Hall.
