Craft and create a candle that's as unique as you are

Do you find yourself stopping at the candle aisle in Target to sniff every jar? Do you feel like you could do better? Here’s your chance! Join Assemble and Katie Oldaker, a local candlemaker, and spend the evening crafting your own candle. Detailed instructions and fragrance oils will be provided for you to blend your own scents and you’ll leave with a candle that’s as unique as you are!

About the Guest Maker:
Katie Oldaker is the owner of Oh Candles, a line of candles inspired by everything from her favorite sparkling water to the particular scent of a first date. She’s a copywriter by trade but a pencil-pushing do-gooder by day. She lives in Millvale with her cat Mrs. Landingham and is, above all things, a Hufflepuff.

We meet every fourth Saturday of the month from 7-9pm. All materials are provided. You do not need prior experience to participate. The goal of this workshop series is to open the making process to people who want to learn a new skill in a community setting. Our goal is to engage as a community to learn, support, and connect with other creatives. Workshop Series reaches out to the community to bring creatives together who may not have access to these materials, space, community, and time.
