Hello Pittsburgh Neighbors!

Hello Neighbor is an organization providing mentorship and friendship to refugees and immigrants. Our mission is improving the lives of refugees and immigrants by matching them with dedicated neighbors to guide and support them in their new lives.

We currently have 25 refugee families matched with 25 Pittsburgh families. On May 6th, we are hosting a potluck for our matches and for you! Come to Brookline park to meet your neighbors and enjoy food and fun.

We ask that you bring one food item (bought or made) with enough to share. If you bring meat it does not have to be halal, but we will have a separate table for anything that is halal to be respectful of our Muslim neighbors.

We will have lots of Activities:
-Soccer
-Meet a firefighter and see the firetruck
– Henna
-Art activities
-and more!

While this event is free, we are asking for non-mentors and mentees to please “donate-what-you-can” to help support Hello Neighbor. This is optional but very much appreciated. All donations will be reinvested into Hello Neighbor’s mentorship program.
