Conversation Around Poor Peoples Campaign Covid-19 Demands | Wed June 24, 2020

calendar link icon  Wed June 24, 2020
Start: 7:00 pm End: 8:00 pm

Last week, the Thomas Merton Center along with other statewide partners of the PA Poor People’s Campaign held state-wide caravans to declare jubilee. Our jubilee is centered in liberation. Everybody’s got a right to live means:

Heal the earth
Free the Vulnerable
End State Violence
Healthcare for All
Housing for All
Transit is a Human Right
Cancel Rent
Guaranteed Income For All
Care Income Now
Re-Unify families
Cancel Debts
Driver’s Licenses for All

We want to reflect on what these demands mean and how working with us through the Poor People’s Campaign will work to achieve this liberation. Join us, HRC-Fed Up, Pittsburghers for Public Transit, and others for a casual conversation.
