Join an educational discussion on grants that address the housing, economic, and human service needs of low and moderate income residents and neighborhoods

Join the City of Pittsburgh for an educational discussion followed by an official public comment session. Community Development Block Grant distributes grants for a wide range of projects which address the housing, economic, and human service needs of low and moderate income residents and neighborhoods. Dinner and dessert (pie!) will be served. Forums are free and open to every resident in the City of Pittsburgh. Hear from representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget, the Office of Community Affairs, the Commission on Human Relations, Parks and Recreation, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, the Department of Human Resources and Civil Service, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority.

Each Session Includes:
•A brief overview of CDBG
•Small group discussions of CDBG priorities and neighborhood needs
•An opportunity for residents to ask questions of an expert panel
•An opportunity to give recorded public comment
•A survey for all attendees to complete
•Dinner and refreshments
•Childcare and Interpretive services are available for free through pre-registration
