Start: 7:00 pm End: 8:00 pm

FREE! Part of The Show Must Go On(line) Pittsburgh series.

Enjoy an evening of music aimed at bringing people together in the spirit of peace, freedom, and respect. Tonight’s quartet features father and son Poogie (drums) and Winston Bell (saxophone) with Tony DePaolis (bass) and Ben Sherman (guitar).

The sound of Grammy award winning Poogie Bell’s drums is what you hear on many of the world’s finest jazz, neo-soul, R&B, and hip hop records. Performer, record producer, composer, and arranger, you’ve heard his work with artists including Chaka Khan, Marcus Miller, Roberta Flack, Erykah Badu, David Bowie, David Sanborn, Al Jarreau, Vanessa Williams, and Randy Crawford.

While we are unable to gather on the Frick grounds this summer, our belief in music’s power to bring people together is unwavering. We hope you enjoy this season’s virtual presentation of Summer Fridays at the Frick presented by UPMC Health Plan, in partnership with The Show Must Go On(line) Pittsburgh channel.

The Show Must Go On(line) is made possible thanks to generous support from the Benter Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, the Juliet Lea Hillman Simonds Foundation, the Opportunity Fund, The Pittsburgh Foundation, and an Anonymous Foundation.
